Our School Ethos and Values
At CIS we provide a happy, safe, caring environment where all members of the school community feel valued, respected and cared for.
We offer high quality teaching and a stimulating and creative curriculum to enrich the children's learning. The focus of our work is embedded in our drive towards raising achievement for all, and a firm belief in the importance of developing positive attitudes to learning.
Pupils are prepared for the future by providing them with opportunities to take responsibility, support each other and become confident and independent learners.
Through our partnership between home and school we seek support for an ethos that encourages success, celebrates effort and achievement and values diversity and fairness.
At CIS we pride ourselves on our high expectations and our drive for continuous improvement in all that we do - encouraging everyone 'to be the best that they can be.'

Updated14/11/2014 with newsletter No 5 of the new school year.
Here at Christchurch Infants we're busy fundraising by collecting old British or foreign coins and notes, even obsolete currency. Initially you'll see lots of posters around the school as well as the collection bucket. Once all the currency has been collected we send it to http://cash4coins.co.uk who exchange it into cash we can use. The bucket will be here all year so keep it coming please.
