Woodpeckers India Day

On the last day of term, we celebrated our learning with a fantastic India day.

The day started with a flight from 'Christchurch Airport' to Bhuntar Airport India. Passports were checked and security was tight but the children did enjoy a look in duty free and some refreshments on the aeroplane.

After arriving in India we met Ambur and she taught us some fantastic Bollywood dance moves. Check us out!

Then we tastes some Indian delicacies including Chicken Korma, Garlic Naan bread and Onion Bhajis. We evaluated them and decided our favourites.

Finally, we completed some Rangoli patterns and headed back to Christchurch. What a fun day we had!
