Spot the Squirrels' Super Senses in Science and DT!

The Squirrels have had great fun learning in DT and Science this half term. We used all our senses but finally, we tasted and evaluated different flavours in a cous cous salad before we decided which flavours we liked best. We then designed and made our own cous cous salad using our own favourite ingredients. We practised using knives to chop up our vegetables but the best bit was tasting our own! We thought what we might do next time if we were going to make it again.

We have also used our senses to learn about each sense using senses bags and boxes. We practised using them ourselves and describing what we could hear, smell, taste, touch and see before testing them on our grown ups in our Super Senses session in the hall. We even learned to recite a senses poem and sing a senses song. Thank you to all the parents who were able to join us on the day and we hope you had as much fun as we did!
