Science Day at CIS

Today the children enjoyed a fantastic Science Day here at Christchurch Infant School. Specialist Science Teachers from St Peters School demonstrated a range of eye-opening experiments which inspired the children to ask lots of questions. Back in the classrooms and outside, EYFS children learnt lots about shadows and floating, Year 1 learnt all about static electricity and Year 2 learnt how to fly rockets! Thank you to all the children who entered the competition. More photos and details of Science Day will appear soon on our website following this link:

A huge thank you to Miss Sneddon, our Science Leader , for organising the day for the children.
