Foxes Autumn term music sessions!
This half term we have been lucky to have Sam Mason from Coda and Sandstorm. She is a music specialist and has been supporting staff and teachers with the teaching of music.
In our sessions we have been learning how to make sounds using our body parts:

We also learnt how to follow patterns given to us and clap or tap them back:

In another session we learnt about the role of the conductor. We each had a go at conducting the class with a snappy crocodile. The wider the mouth, the louder the sound.

We also explored various different instruments, learning how to play them loudly and quietly:

We had such a great time and can't wait to continue practising these skills in our music lessons next year!
