Cous Cous making in Foxes

During our 'Inside Out' topic the children have enjoyed using their five senses to plan, make and evaluate their own cous cous salad.

The children tasted, smelt and looked at tomatoes, peppers, spring onion, sweetcorn and cucumber to determine which two ingredients they wanted to use in their own salad.

The children used their cutting skills to prepare their chosen vegetable into small pieces and mixed it carefully with cous cous.

They then evaluated their cous cous using their senses again!
