What Happens Next...
Information Evening - 15th June 2022.
Please come to the main school office.
School Visits
Week Beginning: June 20th 20th/21st Stay and Play Sessions
During this session, parents and children come into the school hall where the children can play and you can meet other parents and their class teachers.
Week Beginning: June 27th 27th/28th Class Visits
During this session, the children come into their new classroom, on their own, to have time with their new teachers and friends. Parents are invited to stay and enjoy a drink with other parents. The SENCO and Pastoral Worker will be available to chat through any concerns you may have about your child starting school.
Week Beginning: September 5th 5th/6th/7th Home Visits
Your child's class teacher and teaching assistant will come and visit you and your child at home. We find this really helps your child feel more settled about starting school, as the teachers will often chat to the children about the home visit which the children love!
It will also give parents an opportunity to ask any other questions or queries they have.
In May, a letter will be sent home informing you of your child's stay and play session date, class visit date, start date and class teacher.
We will also be holding curriculum evenings, early on in the academic year where you will find out much more information about the Early Years Curriculum.
Other Documents
In this section we will upload any other documents we have or will be referring to that you may need.
All About Your Child Form
This form will help the teachers support your child when they first start school. You will be sent a copy of this form to fill in.

All About Me Bag
(At the home visit your child will receive an all about me bag. In this bag your child can place a few special items that tell us a little bit about themselves. For example, a picture of their pet or their special toy car. On the first day, bring this bag into school and the teachers will use it to get to know your child and ease any nerves about starting school.)
We cannot wait to meet you and your child in the very near future!
